This painting was created to encapsulate a Schnoodle named Shelby. It was important to include a range of environments native to Alberta since the owner of the dog was a small business owner who traveled around the province for work daily with their dog Shelby in tow. Shelby lived to 15 years of age and the owner described her as "The smartest dog in the world, a little person, my best friend". Shelby had a sweet, shy, nature, very soft grey/blue like fur, and dark shiny eyes.
